There could not be a more appropriate name for Iceberg mushrooms. At maturity, the caps crack like a snowy iceberg. They are proliferate fruiters, often packing tubs wall to wall. This albino mutation comes from Thai Lipa Yai, a Thai landrace discovered in a small town called Lipa Yai by John W. Allen. Miss Mush So Cal Labs grew those Thai Lipa Yai and happened upon an albino fruit. That albino phenotype was isolated and is responsible for the genetics we now know as Iceberg.
