Avalanche cubensis is a hybrid of Yeti (TAT isolation) and Melmak (Penis Envy isolation). Avalanche has gold helmet shaped caps with wavy edges. The stipes are short and thick. At maturity, the center of the caps become dark. With proper conditions, Avalanche is a tub filler.
